Advance Notice A18 Mountain Road Closure.
The Department of Infrastructure advise that the Mountain Road will close for TT preparation work on the 17th & 18th of May, between 09.15 and 16.00. The closure will be from the Hairpin through the Maughold section of the road up to the Guthrie Memorial and beyond in to Lezayre Parish.
Following this the road will also be closed on the 24th & 25th of May between the same times. ¶ 14:05

It's Disappointing to Report...
That a Flat screen TV has been dumped on a field just off the Hibernia-Goosneck Road, just above the Ballure plantation. It would be nice to eradicate this kind of behaviour - which involves the ratepayer in funding the disposal costs.
If anyone has any information the community policing team at Ramsey would be glad to hear on 812234. As can be seen the TV was deposited in a remote and beautiful area just below the eastern shoulder of North Barrule known as Gob Ny Scuitt. Fly-tippers have been successfully prosecuted in recent years, and it would be nice to identify the person who tipped this TV. If anyone can provide further information please contact the clerk at the Commissioners or Ramsey Police.
