The Commissioners Wish to invite All residents...
to Maughold's Civic Service on Sunday 9th of September, 3.00 pm at Kirk Maughold. All are welcome to attend the service and meet the Commissioners for refreshments in the church hall following.

Dhoon School & The Commissioners Join Forces to Celebrate Diamond Jubilee
To celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee a 'pebble' compass has been constructed by children from Dhoon School at the Viewing Point in the Dhoon Arboretum. The compass was the idea of Gill Stephens from the 'Dhoon in Bloom' Group who take care of so much of the public spaces in the Parish. The venture was supported by the Commissioners and involved each child from the school in placing a pebble into cement to form the points of the compass. The viewing point is currently being renovated, but the childrens' work is well worth a look! ¶ 08:11
