Glen Mona Bus Shelter - Commissioners Pursue Solution with DOI
The Chairman of the Commissioners, Mark Cowley, recently met with a senior officer at the Department of Infrastructure to communicate the Commissioners concern at the manner in which the bus shelter in Glen Mona was removed without consulting the community.
Mr Cowley used the meeting to impress the concerns of local residents, the landowner and the Commissioners with the way the removal decision was made, and has subsequently been handled.
Communication is now ongoing between the involved parties and it is hoped that a solution will be found and a new shelter re-installed as soon as possible. The Commissioners will keep the community updated through these pages.
