Amenity Vehicle Service to be Withdrawn
The Commissioners will be withdrawing the Amenity Vehicle Service from April 2010.
An evaluation of all services provided by the Commissioners resulted in the decision. The charge for running the Northern Civic Amenity Site will be increased by almost 16% (9k to 10.4k) from April 2010 by central government, along with a tripling of domestic waste disposal charges (from 4.3k to 12.5k).
