Government Tipping Charges Rise by 14%.
The Government has announced that the cost of tipping household waste at the Energy from Waste Plant is to rise by 14%, from £30.74 to £35.00. The new charge will also have implications on the cost of running the Northern Civic Amenity Site at Bride which the Northern Local Authorities Fund.The Commissioners are currently completing their estimates for Year 12/13 and will set the rate for that period in the next few weeks. ¶ 14:39
