The three Garff Authorities...

...will be having an initial meeting with government as part of the process to investigate the implications of merging the three local authorities of Laxey, Lonan and Maughold into a single authority.
The meeting will take place on June the 30th, when MHK Mr Ronan and Senior Officers from the Department of Infrastructure will meet representatives of the three Garff Commissions.
The Commissioners will update residents as appropriate. Once the full implications are know, any decision to amalgamate the three authorities will be the subject of full public consultation. ¶ 08:35
