Mini Recycling Centre - First For Maughold!
The children of the Corony have given an enthusiastic welcome to the recently installed Mini-Recycling-Centre on their estate.
The first facility of this type on the Island.
The centre, installed by the Commissioners in partnership with the DLGE, provides a convenient point for residents to recycle glass, paper, light card, and steel & aluminium cans, etc.
The Commissioners will supply a robust bag to residents of the Corony/Cronk Cardle to assist with collecting and transferring recyclables to the facility.
With tripling domestic waste charges being applied by government from April now is the time to ensure all glass, paper and metal cans are kept out of the wheelie bins. This will help to keep the rates down.
