The Commissioners will be meeting Mr Winstanley, Director of Drainage, as well as senior engineers involved with preparing the proposals for the next stage of the IRIS project, in early October. New treatment and pumping facilities are to be installed in several locations. These being Maughold Village, Port Mooar, Port Lewaigue, Corony and Glen Mona. The Commissioners have viewed the initial proposals and look forward to hearing how these have been developed. The views of those local residents who have seen the initial proposals have already been forwarded to the Authority. The Commissioners will be pressing for a public meeting in the Autumn.
