Litter and Beach Cleaning
At their July meeting the Commissioners resolved to focus further resources to remove the litter which is frequently dropped along the course of the A2 Coast Road from Ballure through to Dhoon. Members of the public are asked to report any incidents of littering to the Commissioners Warden on 422148.
Periodic beach cleans will also be undertaken at Port Lewaigue, Port e Vullen, Port Mooar, and Cornaa.
The cost effectiveness of these initiatives will be assessed in October after a three month trial period. ¶ 22:40
