Changes in Hedge Cutting Practice by the DoI

The Commissioners discussed hedge cutting in Maughold at their June Meeting. It was noted that in recent years the Department of Infrastructure had reduced the scope of their cutting operations and the Department now states that it will only cut hedges for road safety reasons.The Commissioners will be writing to the DoI and liaising with Mr Rodan. The Commissioners have been contacted by many residents concerned at the changes in the last twelve months and the visual effect on the Parish is clear.
