Tipping at Corony It is disappointing to report that the flood ditch that runs about 30 m behind Cronk Cardle has become the victim of a determined fly-tipper. Annual clearance works recently revealed a large quantity of items tipped in one short section of the ditch. In previous years one householder has been flooded twice due to blockages in this ditch, so the offence is particularly worrying. These included 10 hardened cement bags a large assortment of paint tins, plumbing fittings, plant pots and a complete Vax Cleaner. Sergeant Kneen at Ramsey Police would like to hear from anyone who has information on 812234. The Commissioners Warden can also be contacted on 422148.
