William Kennish 150th Anniversary Commemoration
This March marks the Anniversary of the death of the great Maughold poet, inventor, scientist, engineer and explorer, William Kennish. More details of the achievements of William Kennish can be found by pressing control & clicking

To mark the occasion, Mr Bob Stimpson, author of a recently published study of Kennish has organised a commemoration at the memorial plaque on the Corony Bridge which is just above his birthplace. A wreath will be laid at the plaque and an address made in honour of Kennish.
