Shennaghys Jiu: Commissioners Wish Dhoon Children A Good Festival!

Following on from the success of the Daffodil Competition, the Commissioners would like to send their very best wishes to the school children taking part in this year's Shennaghys Jiu festival; which is focused on providing opportunities for young people to perform traditional music. The Dhoon Children will take part in the family concert at Ree Gorree on Good Friday evening (7.30pm): why not go along and support them! They will also be taking part in a music workshop on Easter Saturday in Ramsey Town Hall at 11.00 am. Musicians from many corners of the Celtic World will be in school to engage with the children this Thursday. There is much much more going on which young and old alike can get involved in.
