Changes to Local Government - Mr Bell Spells Out His Intentions
During a recent Tynwald debate, Allan Bell, The Chief minister made the following statement:
I also hope, Madam President, in the life of this parliament we will
finally complete the reform of the Legislative Council and finally complete the reform of local
authorities...
The Commissioners await the coming months with great interest and are keen to engage with government to discuss ways of improving the quality and efficiency of services provided to the ratepayer. The comments of residents on the possibility of changes to local government would be warmly welcomed via maughold@manx.net.
