A New Garff Authority to replace Maughold Commissioners? Your Views Needed.
A public meeting will take place at 7.00 pm on Wednesday 7th of October for representatives of Laxey, Lonan and Maughold to present the pros and cons of the three authorities amalgamating into a single entity. A letter will be with all residents in the next days indicating the proposal and outlining the implications if the amalgamation goes ahead (see here).
