Commissioners Rate Remains at 108p in the £ for the Coming Financial Year
The Commissioners have maintained the rate at £108p in the pound for the fourth year in succession. The separate Property Refuse Disposal Charge will rise due to the15% increase in tipping fees at the EfW plant. The latter charge will now be £36.03 per property and it is expected that it will rise rapidly in the coming years as Government transfers even more of the subsidy on tipping fees from general taxation to the rates.
